Course Description

We study recent issues in software-defined networking and related system's challenges. We learn the basic concepts of software-defined networking and various research and development efforts that enhance the state of the art. Relevant topics include software-defined networking, testing/debugging issues, middlebox development process, software verification of networks, network functions virtualization, transport-layer protocol optimizations, etc.

This course is a graduate-level course, and we assume that the students have already taken following (or equivalent) courses.
